Hello,
Third grade is doing a great job! On last week third grade did an awesome job on their science posters on Photosynthesis. We have several things planned beginning this week, September 26. On Monday, we will start preparation for a sweet potato plant (science). The students will keep a journal of their daily observations of the potato as it sprouts into a plant. Also, on Thursday, students will begin their creative writing assignments. The students will be required to write a rough draft and errors will be marked by teacher; students will then write their final copies with corrections.
Test Schedule is as follows:
Monday--Penmanship Test
Tuesday--Math Test
Wednesday--Language Test (Capitalization and Kinds of Sentences)
Science Test (Chapter Two--Plants)
Friday--Spelling Test (List 5)
